The Brisbane Night Market will be located in the Brisbane Produce Market Covered Unloading Area. Simply plug 385 Sherwood Road, Rocklea, into your GPS.
Yes, the Brisbane Night Market will be fully undercover.
The Brisbane Night Market will go ahead rain, hail or shine. The Market is fully undercover, so no need to worry about getting drenched – just have a great time.
In the event of extreme weather, we may close the venue to ensure the safety of our guests and Stallholders. If this occurs we will advise the closure on our social media channels (Facebook and Instagram), via email and on our website.
We are accepting applications for Stallholders selling the following products:
- Dine-in food stalls
- Non-alcoholic beverages
- Alcoholic beverages
- Gourmet food
- Artisanal crafts
- Lifestyle products
- House and garden products
We also welcome applications from kids entertainers and performers – the Brisbane Night Market will need to have lots of fun activities for all ages!

The following stall sizes are available:
- Food truck less than 5m in length
- Food truck greater than 5m in length
- 3m x 3m Food marquee stall
- 3m x 6m Food marquee stall
- 3m x 3m Non-food marquee stall
- 3m x 6m Non-food marquee stall
Licence terms for a stall at the Brisbane Night Market are three months with payment required one month in advance.
All Stallholders will be required to sign a Licence Agreement.

Yes, Public Liability Insurance for a minimum coverage amount of $10 million is required.
Stallholders are able to access the site each Friday from 12:30 to 3:30pm for bump in, and from 10:15pm to 12 midnight for bump out.
No, there will not be any permanent structures or set up. Stallholders will be required to set up and pack down each Friday.
Stallholders must remove all equipment from the site at the conclusion of the Brisbane Night Market each week.
Stallholders must remove all waste from the site, including rubbish, and cooking oil.
Yes, we will have grey water disposal available. The waste water will be able to be disposed of in our supplied grey water tanks.
Stallholders may only affix signage in their immediate stall area, to their own equipment and structures. Signage must not be attached to the concrete columns, roadway or roof structure.
When food is being prepared on Market premises, a food licence and food handling certificate must be provided. If you do not have these certifications, these can be acquired from Brisbane City Council. If you do not have these documents upon making your application to us and are approved, you will be required to provide these documents before commencing trade.
Food stalls require flooring, a gazebo with weights and fire safety equipment. Additionally, all electrical items must be tested and tagged, and all temporary food stall guidelines and provisions must be complied with to maintain a stall with Brisbane MarketPlace.
A sample menu outlining the types of food being served, along with images that reflect your stall set-up including professional signage with a gazebo, must accompany the application.
Please note that the sale of beverages (hot or cold) is not permitted at the Market.
