Yes, the Brisbane Night Market is fully undercover.

The Brisbane Night Market will go ahead rain, hail or shine. The Market is fully undercover, so no need to worry about getting drenched – just have a great time.

In the event of extreme weather, we may close the venue to ensure the safety of our guests and Stallholders. If this occurs we will advise the closure on our social media channels (Facebook and Instagram), via email and on our website.

An amazing range of street food from Brisbane’s best food trucks and vendors, delectable alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, tasty gourmet goodies, artisanal crafts, lifestyle products and more.

There is live entertainment on offer every Friday, including a dedicated kid’s entertainment section.

The following stall sizes are available:

  • Food truck less than 5m in length
  • Food truck greater than 5m in length
  • 3m x 3m Food marquee stall
  • 3m x 6m Food marquee stall
  • 3m x 3m Non-food marquee stall
  • 3m x 6m Non-food marquee stall

Licence terms for a stall at the Brisbane Night Market are three months with payment required one month in advance.
All Stallholders will be required to sign a Licence Agreement.

No, from time to time Brisbane Night Market may change the layout of the Market.  As a result of this a Stallholder is not committed to one stall location within the site and may be required to relocate.

No Stallholder at Brisbane Night Market has exclusivity over a particular product or service.

Stall fees are due on the last Friday of every month for the upcoming month of trade.  A Tax Invoice will be emailed directly to your nominated email address monthly with payment instructions.

Payments can be made online at, BPay or over the phone by credit card during office hours: Monday to Thursday: 8am – 3.30pm Friday: 8.30am – 2pm at 3915 4277.

Yes, Public Liability Insurance for a minimum coverage amount of $10 million is required.

We receive a high volume of Stallholder applications and unfortunately not every application to trade can be accommodated at our Market.

Stallholders are able to access the site each Friday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm for bump in, and from 10.15pm to 12 midnight for bump out.

Yes, Stallholders are allocated space for one vehicle only in the immediate area behind the stall.  All other staff vehicles must be parked in the allocated spaces on the other side of Sherwood Road.  Vehicles must not be moved during the Market customer trading period.

The Brisbane Night Market team will review parking requirements with Stallholders on a case-by-case basis.

Trestle tables or gazebos are not available for hire from Brisbane Night Market.

Yes, electricity is available at the Markets.  Be sure to add this requirement to your application when submitting this here.

All electrical items must be tested and tagged by a licenced electrical contractor.

No, there will not be any permanent structures or set up. Stallholders will be required to set up and pack down each Friday.

Stallholders must remove all equipment from the site at the conclusion of the Brisbane Night Market each week.

Stallholders must remove all waste from the site, including rubbish and cooking oil.

Yes, we will have grey water disposal available.  Waste water can be disposed of in our supplied grey water tanks.

Stallholders may only affix signage in their immediate stall area, to their own equipment and structures. Signage must not be attached to the concrete columns, roadway or roof structure.

When food is being prepared on Market premises, a food licence and food handling certificate must be provided. If you do not have these certifications, these can be acquired from Brisbane City Council. If you do not have these documents upon making your application to us and are approved, you will be required to provide these documents before commencing trade.

Food stalls require flooring, a gazebo with weights and fire safety equipment. Additionally, all electrical items must be tested and tagged, and all temporary food stall guidelines and provisions must be complied with to maintain a stall with Brisbane MarketPlace.

A sample menu outlining the types of food being served, along with images that reflect your stall set-up including professional signage with a gazebo, must accompany the application.
